During several days in early July, tens of thousands of infected
computers have generated a stream of requests to web servers with
dozens of governments, financial institutions and media in the United
States and South Korea. No sensitive data had been stolen and methods
were considered rudimentary, but this cyber attacks, after those
registered in the past during international crisis (in Estonia
in 2007, Georgia in 2008 for example) should motivate us for vigilance. More we are connected, more we are fragile.

Symbol of citizen journalism, which it was originally in the early
2000s, the South Korean website OhmyNews is launching a call for help. In
an open letter published on its website, the founder of the website, Mr.
Oh Yeon-ho disclosed that the online newspaper lost 30,000 euros this year, due to falling advertising revenue. He asks readers
to join the venture contributing 10.000 wons a month (5,60 €) to enable the journal to survive.

On 7 June, the French resident in Africa and America were invited to elect councilors who represent them in the French Abroad Assembly. Approximately 9% of voters have expressed their choice by Internet, an option now available for all french citizens living abroad, following the publication of an official decree.

French taxpayers have filed their 2008 tax return via Internet. It is 30%
better than last year, through the simplification of the procedure.
Over 60% have chosen the option "without license".
